Feeding The Lions at The Lion Park - Pretoria, South Africa

                       VW Bus

Their guide drove them into the lion enclosure and they saw hungry looking lions approach their bus and started to get the idea what was about to happen. Sure enough the guide opened the side sliding door and the two lionesses, that you see below, started grabbing the chunks of meat that were right at their feet.  And NO there was nothing between them, they could have reached down and touched them if they had wanted to.

The male waited patiently as the lionesses ate. One of the lionesses was nursing cubs. The guide said that was the only time the male would allow the females to eat first.

   Feeding The Cheetahs
After they were done feeding the lions they then went on to feed the cheetahs. The cheetahs were a lot more apprehensive and not sure about them, and hesitated before charging in and grabbing the meat and taking off with it.
